Cookie Policy
Last updated: 15 May 2026
This notice is provided under art. 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (“Privacy Code”), Directive 2002/58/EC (“ePrivacy”), Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and the “Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools” of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 10 June 2021, and supplements the Privacy Policy.
1. Controller
OTREB S.R.L. — Via Flavio Gioia 11, 64026 Roseto degli Abruzzi (TE), Italy — VAT 02222120673 — info@otrebsrl.it.
2. What cookies and tracking tools are
Cookies are small text files that visited sites send to the user's device, where they are stored to be re-transmitted to those same sites on subsequent visits. “Tracking tools” also include equivalent technologies (e.g. local storage, passive identifiers). They are split into technical cookies and non-technical cookies (profiling/marketing).
3. Legal basis
For technical cookies the Controller is subject only to the duty to inform, their use falling within an exemption from consent (art. 122 Privacy Code). For non-technical cookies, prior, free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent from the user is required.
4. Cookies and tools used by this site
4.1 Technical and session cookies
The site uses only technical cookies and tools, indispensable for the use of the pages and services requested (for example secure submission of the booking form). No consent is required for such tools.
4.2 Banner preference (local storage)
To remember the choice made through the banner, the site stores a preference in the browser's local storage (key otreb-cookie-consent). This information remains on the user's device, has no tracking purpose and is not transmitted to the Controller or third parties.
4.3 Marketing and third-party cookies (Google Ads)
The site uses the Google tag (gtag.js) for Google Ads conversion measurement. The tool is provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and allows detection of actions taken by the user following an advertising campaign (for example the submission of a request or booking form) and their attribution to the campaign, including for retargeting/remarketing purposes.
To this end Google installs third-party cookies and identifiers (including _gcl_au and cookies from the google.com/doubleclick.net domains), with a maximum duration of up to 90 days for conversion cookies and different durations for advertising ones, according to Google's policies. Use of this platform may involve the transfer of data to third countries, on the basis of the safeguards adopted by Google (standard contractual clauses and supplementary measures).
These are non-technical cookies: they are installed and activated only with prior consent from the user through the banner, and not before. The user can modify or withdraw their choice at any time through the cookie banner, as well as disable personalised advertising from Google Ads Settings. For the underlying processing please refer to the Privacy Policy.
5. Cookie duration
Technical session cookies are deleted when the browser is closed; any persistent technical cookies have a duration limited to their technical purpose. The preference referred to in point 4.2 remains until manually deleted by the user.
6. Managing and disabling cookies
The user can manage, limit or disable cookies through their browser settings. Disabling technical cookies may impair the proper functioning of the site. Instructions:
7. Data subject's rights
The user may exercise the rights set out in arts. 15–22 GDPR and lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority. For details please refer to the Privacy Policy.
8. Limitation of liability
Within the limits allowed by law, the Controller is not liable for malfunctions, loss of functionality or service disruptions arising from the user's disabling or blocking of technical cookies, nor for third-party settings, extensions or software present on the user's device. The provisions of the Terms and Conditions also apply.
9. Updates
This Cookie Policy may be updated at any time; the current version is the one published on this page with the date of the last update.
